IEP Learning Academy: Shaping Careers, Empowering Lives
Since the launch of the Level 4 Employability Apprenticeship Standard in 2020 after almost two years of collaborative development, the IEP has continued to build on our suite of accredited learning to ensure we offer a robust professional learning and career pathway for learners at all levels of their career and to attract new talent into the employability sector.
Building Competencies for Employability Practitioners
Our learning is meticulously designed to equip employability practitioners at all levels with the necessary competencies. We empower professionals to impart the skills, knowledge, and resources needed to enhance employability opportunities, guiding individuals toward fulfilling and sustainable jobs.
A Growing Network
Since the introduction of our learning programmes, we have supported over 12,500 learners in completing our various qualifications, creating more qualified practitioners than at any time in the employability sector’s history.
Tailored Learning for Diverse Challenges
Collaborating with expert partners, we have developed specialised learning opportunities to address emerging challenges. Our commitment extends to bespoke programmes for specific jobseeker cohorts, such as individuals who are neurodiverse or over 50, created in partnership with organisations like the Centre for Ageing Better and neurodiversity specialists Genius Within CIC.
Ongoing Professional Development
Beyond our accredited learning programs, we offer a multitude of opportunities for employability practitioners to enhance their professional skills to ensure continuous growth for our community.
A Hub for Sector-Relevant Training
The IEP Learning Academy partners with sector experts, with planned developments in 2024 covering areas such as young people, ‘In Work’ support, lone parents, quality, and self-employment. Our aim is to be the go-to repository for high-quality, sector-relevant training and qualifications, professionalising the sector and creating a ‘career of choice.’
Beyond Learning: Community and Support
In addition to our accredited learning programmes, we offer a range of opportunities for professional development, including expert-learning webinars, a mentoring and coaching programme (Members4Members), learning podcasts and networking events. Our commitment to continuous professional development extends to our weekly publications and newsletters, providing valuable insights and information.
