Following the successful launch of the Centre for Employability Excellence in June 2023, we hosted the first in our series of seminars providing opportunities for contributors to come together for thought–provoking and open discussion, sharing valuable insights and perspectives on the hot topics for the Employability Sector of today and tomorrow.
Our first virtual seminar was held on October 12th 2023, entitled ‘AI in Employability – Utopia or Dystopia?’. The seminar delved into the ethical implications of AI in the context of employability, exploring its impact on employment programmes and the opportunities it provides for jobseekers. The seminar was well-attended, with an international audience registered from no less than 11 countries including Australia, Canada, England, Estonia, Ireland, Pakistan, Poland, Scotland, Sweden, Spain, and Wales.
